Hi all, i'm currently knocking up a game baord, made of 6 2x2' square sections.
its based on an urban layout. Its taking a lot longer than expected! you can see the first board i'm working on and a paper prototype of the finished article here!

New purchases!
Hi guys, popped into town today for some spray varnish, i also need some new brushes as my work horse brush (W+N S7 size 2) has pretty much had it. (its old!)
I decided to buy the eavy metal set to try the brushes out (first thing i notice is how big the tips are on them....) and also a new series 7 to compare them to. I'll have a review of the set up in a few days.
Also got yet ANOTHER new palette, i still cant find one i REALLY like.

Its a toss up!
A good buddy of mine is a keen scratchbuilder.
He was thinking of scratching up a capitol imperialis. i however think it would be much more awesome to scratch up a Hellbore!
The hellbores such an interestin gpiece of kit, its a drill on a tank chassis! awesome!
remember the mole from thunderbirds?? its like that but huuuge.
He reckons he cant do a hellbore as he cant figure out what to use as the "drill bit" anyone got any ideas?
Anyway heres a picture of them both,
As soon as theres progress on the project, i'll steal some pics!
see you sunday!

To factory line or not?
So i usually paint my figures one at a time nowadays, as i find it keeps my quiality up and is a little less boring although waiting times for drying etc really slows unit painting down on a whole.
Last night i decided to try factory line again and my god is it boring! so i wont be doing it again!
what type do you do and why?

Slow progress...
Right today has been thus eventfull!
I purchased some interesting mediums from hobbycraft.
here they are
Ive since decanted them into little dropper bottles mixed with water, trouble is i use such small amounts of paint even 1 drop is 50% of a mix then!
need to mix both my matte medium mix and my flow improver mix together i feel so i can use 1 drop of mixed.
also done a little more on the termie squad (this is guy number 2)
I'm especially happy with how the recessed sigma symbol has come out (its one of my first freehand attempts)
Oh and i really need a drop pod to be able to field a 1750pt army with what i have so im gonna speed paint one in a couple of days! just like this one!
