Minotaur terminators finished!

Apart from a couple of things ive missed (reglossing gems and lenses, and a name scroll) these are done! I found it super hard to get decent pics tonight, im not sure why but here we are! I was especially happy with the weathering on the storm shields.

    Really good job!! the weathering on the shields does look good. Are the shield symbols free hand or decal?

    Cheers guys, the shields are scibor shields with the detail shaved off. i believe theres probably easier options out there, ive a feeling forge world will be releasing their own soon enough....

      For the bronze?

      VMC bronze
      then devlan mud wash

      another coat of vmc bronze

      then i added another layer of vmc bronze/vmc silver 7:1 ratio just to brighten it up.

      i then highlighted with a few bronze/silver mixes.

    Hey mate,

    Brilliant work!

    I've ordered some Scribor shields for my own mino's, and have spent the day shaving and filing the storm shield hands down to fit them onto the model... then I noticed in an older photo that it looks like the Scribor shields have the hand pieces attached. Either flawless work on your behalf :) Or have I just wasted a day?

    Great job with the colour match, mine are too dwarf bronze... still they shine from about six feet away :)

      Haha, cheers mate, yes i had to file the shields away from the hands like you say, them attach them to the back of the scibor shields. it was a pig of a job!
