Ok so i FINALLY finished this objective marker i've had laying about since 2007!
I think in future i will give the Sharks yellow eyes, as black, although fluffy, is too dull.
Heres the pics.
Let me know what you think?
Have you ever created a marker like this? if so i'd love to see it!
Very cool. I love that it's got its own display piece to sit in as well. I've built objective markers before, but nothing this extravagant.

hi mate, good to hear from you! did you get your blog rolls sorted yet?
Deletei miss those :(
this got a lot of effort back in the day as it was originally goin gto be entered into a competition back in 2007.. i only just got round to finishing it.
needless to say, i didnt win!
Not yet, the one solution I had doesn't update fast enough and only shows the top handful of posts without a scrolling option.
ReplyDeleteI'd say to leave the eyes black in this case. He's dying, the suit is on it's last leg, power would be redirected to vital functions and so forth...
How about a little freehand on that banner though?
Ron, From the Warp
Ahh, freehand, well i was going to put a decal on there, but the banners not exactly decal friendly shape wise.
Deleteand ive not tried to do the carchardon logo freehand yet.
i`ve a feeling its rather hard!
i reckon its a good idea for a tutorial in your blog!
youre the expert in these matters!
I had to go look in my case... I thought I'd painted one, but it turns out it was a Red Scorpion.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll find some time to try it.
Ron, From the Warp
Please do! yet again i've decided to do Carcharodons again, mainly because i've seen a lovely Shark army on you tube that has swung me big time!
